BIMBO
Born in Puerto Rico in 1973, Jesús Otero, better known as Bimbo "El Oso Mañoso" (the crafty bear) has made an unequalled and enviable career in itself. Since very young he was dedicated to the art of "Freestyle", and today he is solidly one of the most famous Latin raperos of the moment.
His musical instincts come in principle from his grandfather, who already before the Trio Los Panchos, was part of a trio in the Isla del Encanto (Puerto Rico). As early as in his school years Bimbo already stood out among his school mates for his peculiar freestyle art, but it was not until the latter part of the eighties when, at a talent show, he confronted Mickey Perfecto. From this competitive encounter 3-2 Get Funky, a group that for more than a decade took charge of mixing tropical rhythms with reggae and rap, launching Bimbo and Mickey as the sound of the moment, was born.

In the 90's, they signed a contract with RPM Records for 5 years which allowed these talented artists to participate musically with Celia Cruz, Marc Anthony, Tito Nieves, La India, among others. The fame acquired by 3-2 Get Funky made them reached Tokyo, and they were the first and only reggaeton group in history to perform there and climb to number 8 positions in the TOP 40 of that country. At the beginning of 2001 the dissolution of 3-2 Get-Funky was imminent, and Bimbo decided to start his career as a soloist, staying in what he considered his roots: the clandestine...

He was scared as the people did not know Bimbo's development as a soloist, said the rapero, but by 2003 the record market opens its arms to "Mas Suelto que Nunca", his first production with B& E Entertainment. Songs like "A Nivel de Mafia" and "Amor Bandido" have allowed Bimbo to win not only the affection but also the respect of the public that follows his career in countries like Colombia, Venezuela, Panama, Peru, Costa Rica and the United States. More than a Harper Bimbo has placed himself among the young Latin people with his work Bimbo "Presenta Reggaeton 110 x 35", a firm success, first CD that he makes of Reggaeton only and as a composer.

His musical production Bimbo "Presenta Reggaeton 100x 35", which went on the market in 2005 under BNE Entertainment, tuned his artistic development and showed once again that reggaeton is here to fill anybody's tank!.

2005, year of new family, signed with New Records, Inc. To launch a new special edition of "MAS SUELTO QUE NUNCA" which includes 20 themes written by the same artist like "A Nivel de Mafia" and "Amor Bandido", themes that were taken to several Latin American countries and rhythms of several well-known artists Duch as Cheka, Luny Tunes and Majestic among others, and a special theme "unplugged featuring Cheka", in this production he shows once again who is "El Oso Mañoso del Reggaeton".
